Winter engagement photos in Vail are so magical and pretty in the fresh snow- with the mountain peaks and snow topped trees, it really sets the scene for a romantic proposal! I love coordinating to help capture such a special moment and memory. Even though I've photographed SO many proposals, I still will find myself shedding a tear of happiness along with my clients when they ask the big question. It's just such a sweet and special moment to be witness to!

This couples got engaged (on their first day ever of skiing together!) on top on Vail mountain. It was quite the perfect afternoon for a mountain top winter proposal in Vail! There's a great spot on top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola out of Lionshead Village that has views for days, cute ski lifts in the background, and those perfectly snow dusted trees. All in all, a winter wonderland landscape for photos! One of the best things about being a Vail photographer is getting to explore all the beautiful Colorado locations for photos.

After a candid proposal I love to walk my clients around for a more directed, hands on photo session. We get to move around a little and be a little more directed for photos. It's really fun to capture both the candid moments and then also getting to be directive within the same session. Also how adorable is this little vintage ski gondola from the good old Vail days?! It's giving vintage ski romance vibes and I am here for it.
