Vail Family Photographer

It's officially (finally!) Spring here in the Vail Valley! Flowers are blooming, birds are chirping, and this adorable mama daughter photo session was the perfect intro into non-winter time photos. This first photo session of Spring always gets me so excited for summer family photos in Vail Colorado! Don't get me wrong, I do love snowy photos and that cozy feel, but the freedom of summer weather makes for such a different photo experience with the little ones.

We did this session a little down valley from Vail, in a beautiful open space in Edwards. I love how you can see the mountains coming down into the valley in the distance, with the grass and trees starting to turn green. As a Vail family photographer it's really fun to explore the area and find more options for different beautiful photo locations in the area.

Mama and child photo sessions are always so sweet, and this was right before Mother's Day so the timing was pretty perfect! We got to really just enjoy the day and let the session flow naturally for some of the sweetest candid photos together.
