Vail Winter Proposal

A snowy winter engagement in Vail Colorado is such a beautiful thing to photograph! As a Vail engagement photographer, I really love these winter wonderland snowy proposals. This one took place in East Vail around Bighorn Park. Mid snowstorm he took a knee at one of her favorite places, and asked her to spend forever with him. It was magical and sweet, and of course she said "yes!".

Being a Vail proposal photographer also means helping to coordinate the proposal itself, which is always fun (and slightly chaotic at times!). The time of day, location vibe, and of course keeping it all a secret are important parts of the success of the proposal. I love being there to help people and guide them to locations and situations that will best suit their ideal proposal!

I always capture the proposal itself very candidly, to capture the moment and reactions. It's a really sweet moment, and although I've photographed so many of these, I still tear up very often. Being there to witness and document such a beautiful moment of love is so special. After the candid proposal, we walk around together for a more directed photo session with my couple! This part is really fun, and spirits are always energized and excited.

This couples had some of their family waiting on standby for after the proposal to celebrate and congratulate the happy couple. They even brought a custom bottle of bubbles and a shot-ski! Super fun.

I loved this cute custom label on the bubbles to celebrate! It's so fun to have a bottle to pop for photos and drinking.
