Sunrise photo have a certain magic to them...

especially in the mountains. The light plays off the peaks in such an ever-changing and beautiful way, making them quite a stunning backdrop for a wedding, elopement, or engagement session! As a photographer I certainly love that sunset golden hour lighting too, but sunrise photos never get enough credit. 

For this couple's gorgeous sunrise elopement, we started at the top of Sapphire Point to get some images of those Colorado mountains! After taking photos at the top, we went to a second close location to get some more wedding photos on the water at Lake Dillon. 

It's moments (and mornings) like these that really make we love what I do as a Colorado mountain photographer! Whether it's in Vail (my home base), Aspen , Breckenridge or any other mountain location- the scenery never gets old.
