Vail Fall Engagement Photos

That warm autumn glow in the sunset lighting is such a beautiful time in Vail. Of course it's stunning for photo sessions, but it's also just such a beautiful time to enjoy. It's a time that always makes me slow down and take in the beauty around and take a deep breath, enjoying the foliage and warmth before winter is just around the corner. This fall engagement session in Vail was a great example of a perfect fall evening.

Yep, back to one of my favorite locations in Vail- it really does have everything there. We stop at a nice little water spot on the walk for some pretty engagement photos on the river. Then continue on to this little aspen tree grove for photos surrounded by the yellow leaves. I love that sweet spot when there's still leaves on the trees but also covering the ground, it's just so pretty.

Once the sun sets below the ridge we can turn and get this great view of the mountains for the final backdrop! I don't really know what I would do without this location. It does require a bit of walk to get to, but once there it just has so many pretty backgrounds to use. It's a go to location for me as a local Vail photographer!
