What a special family photo session in Beaver Creek, Colorado! This was the first snow dusting of the season- a rare moment with snow on the ground while still having some yellow leaves on the trees. It's rare to capture a photo session with this weather, and I'm so happy I got to capture this sweet family for this seasonal change! Beaver Creek ski area in Colorado is really pretty for photo session, and also pretty easy to access when it's not skiing season. There's a nice trail system going up the mountain that's accessible to walk on (as long as everyone is open to a little walk), and getting some pretty mountain peak views in the background. This is just one of the locations around the mountain for a possible family photo session!

This was a shorter family photo session, which is honestly great for little kids- especially in the winter! Kids tend to have a shorter attention span for photos and can get colder faster in chilly weather. I always say quality over quantity in terms of time with young kids! We can almost always get some great photos in a shorter session time with happy kids.
