I love these late summer photo sessions so much- that feeling of fall just around the corner, but still being able to find some of the last wild flowers of the season. This Vail family photo session was on a clear dreamy evening, lot's of running around exploring for flowers and rocks with the water and mountains in the backdrop.

One of my favorite parts of being a Vail family photographer is getting to capture the candid moments between the direction and posed smiles. I think it's so important to let kids be themselves and run around during a session to help with feel comfortable and also just get them having fun and being silly on their own.
