Beaver Creek Chapel Fall Wedding
This beautiful elopement in Beaver Creek Colorado was one of my favorites this year. The couple chose to have only immediate family present for their heartfelt ceremony at The Beaver Creek Chapel, which is a quaint and pretty stone chapel located just next to the ski slopes in Beaver Creek. I love shooting here and think the venue is so pretty for weddings and events.
The outside of the chapel is gorgeous for photos as well, I love the steps leading up to the doors surrounded by flowers and aspen trees. This was in the middle of September and leaves had just started to turn yellow while still having the beautiful outdoor flowers to add to the charm and beauty of the location. It truly felt like the perfect early fall day for a whimsical mountain elopement.
East Vail Mountain Elopement Photos
Post-ceremony, I went with just the bride and groom to a secondary location in East Vail, a short drive from Beaver Creek. I love this location (especially in the fall) for mountain peak backdrops with the aspen trees sloping down into the valley. The misty clouds added to the ambiance and overall feeling for a cozy aesthetic.
We had enough time at this location to have some fun and get creative with photos- and pop a bottle of celebratory champagne! I personally love a champagne pop for photos, I think they always turn out so cute and add a fun element to the session. This is the time in the day when we can get more creative with direction and posing for photos, taking time to settle in to the photographic experience.
I truly loved being able to capture this whimsical fall elopement in the mountains of Vail Colorado
