Summer Elopement at Horizons in Bachelor Gulch, Colorado


Kicking off June with this picturesque elopement in Beaver Creek at Horizons! This stunning property sits atop of Bachelor Gulch with stunning views of mountain ranges and surrounded by ski slopes and hiking trails. This couple are close friends of mine and it was such a joy and honor to capture this beautiful day for them.


I really love these kind of easy going and laid back elopements in the summer where we can walk around and explore the area for a variety of different locations and backgrounds for photos. This property was really able to offer so many different beautiful backgrounds!

We walked around the property and the many surrounding trails for the perfect location for them to exchange vows and sign their marriage license. The wildflowers were blooming early this year and we were able to find the perfect open field dappled in shade from the aspen trees. Small dandelions and wildflowers scattered through the grass was the perfect touch. Their sweet doggie served as their witness and the sole guest for the event!

A bottle of bubbles was in tow for a celebratory drink, which always makes for fun photos and a refreshing moment to take it all in. We walked through the aspen trees and soaked in the early summer weather and landscape before heading back to Horizons to finish their day. Dinner and drinks in Beaver Creek village for their celebration dinner!
