Vail Elopement

Summertime in Vail is starting to come to an end, but this beautiful Vail elopement was just the perfect kind of late summer weather I always hope happens for a mountain top photo session! This was one of the sweetest and loving couples, their love was beautiful to witness. They chose to exchange vows to each other on the top of Vail mountain, after a scenic gondola ride up. It was a perfect summer day with light clouds rolling through, green landscape of the summertime, and of course mountain peaks all around.

We started our day together at The Four Seasons in Vail for some getting ready and detail photos. It's a nice way to settle into the day with getting to know my couples, and capturing some candid moments together before heading out into town for their Vail elopement! After that, we went up the gondola together to the top of Vail mountain for photos and their sweet vows to each other.

As a Vail elopement and wedding photographer, these are the kind of days I truly love being part of. It was such a special and scenic afternoon at the top of Vail, with mountain peak views all around us. It's really one of the most scenic views for a Vail summer wedding or elopement here in the Colorado mountains.

After our beautiful afternoon at the top of Vail mountain we went back down the gondola into Lionshead Village. This was a gorgeous day for this sweet Vail Elopement before the summer ends!
