Vail Winter Wedding


Vail Colorado is such a beautiful location for a wedding in every season- even a snowy winter wedding. The area offers so much natural beauty and charm within the town of Vail, it's easy to understand why people travel and plan for a Vail winter wedding.


This cute micro wedding was so fun to capture, the group was such a nice intimate size and the couple were so sweet and just so happy to be getting married with their closest friends and family. The couple both got ready at their Vail hotel before heading out into the winter snow for their first look in Vail Village.

Even with all the snow falling we decided on riding the Eagle Bahn Gondola up to the top of Vail mountain for the bride and groom's first look together. The bride had never been on a gondola before so this was even extra special for the day. A gondola ride in a snow storm really feels like being in a snow globe on the mountain. The top of the mountain was in white out conditions which added to the adventure of the day!

After coming back down the mountain we went over to one of my favorite photo locations in Lionshead Village for couples photos together- this spot is so easy to access and just has such a pretty winter feeling to it. I love the snow falling around the trees and creek in the background.

Vail Winter Micro Wedding


In a small snowy park in Vail Colorado this sweet couple made it official, surrounded by their closest friends and family. We had a moment of clear weather for their ceremony and family photos, a break from the snow.

After the outdoor ceremony we went to Avanti in Vail for a private area with dinner, drinks and shot skis! Snow starting lightly falling again while the soft lights and laughter settled inside the party.
